The Promised Update
I think the last time I revamped this website was last January. Ten months after, I present the new layout. My coding and designing skills seemed to dwindle since it took me a bit longer to finish this. Fortunately, I do like the finished product.
As I was looking through my blog archives, I realized that I barely had any entries written during the first sem. This makes me quite sad because I’ve always thought that this blog has done a great job of encapsulating the heights of my emotions throughout college. It’s quite a joy reading through past entries and feel the nostalgia creep up. It is quite unfortunate because to say that my first sem is eventful is an understatement. I anticipated a crazy senior year and I got all that and more. But I survived it with flying colors, got myself into the Dean’s List again and achieved more than what I could personally hope for. I vow to blog more as I live through my last undergraduate semester in the Ateneo.
This sembreak is quite a busy one for me. As much as I would want to talk about each event, it is impossible to go through everything.
1. Council of Organizations of the Ateneo Evaluation Seminar

Immediately after the sem ended, the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo Central Board together with the 47 presidents/representatives of the organizations and the Office of Student Activities headed to Antipolo for 3 days of evaluation and bonding. As the Performing Arts Cluster Head, I was happy to be reunited with my presidents, bond, evaluate and plan for our next big project. It was a lot of fun, very productive and I got the chance to meet new people. Picture above is a group COA shot, while the picture below is of my cluster, PAC.
2. Council of Organizations of the Ateneo Central Board Evaluation Seminar

The COA Central Board extended a day to continue and evaluate the cluster, as well as do some planning ourselves. It was a great day for all of us. Personally, I love being around these people and COA in general. I know this is probably going to sound cheesy, but they truly inspire me. The people I work with are so good at what they do. I think it’s easy to channel a sense of passion for COA because each cluster is geared towards something each member is already passionate about. The next semester is going to be great for all of us.
3. Association of Catholic Universities and Colleges in Asia

As the Performing Arts Cluster Head, I was given the task to be head Stage Manager of the Cultural Night and other programs during the whole event. It is a three-day event held in the Ateneo, wherein various delegates from seven Asian Catholic universities participated in. It was definitely a memorable experience meeting a lot of interesting people from other countries. And all the events I headed turned out to be very successful.
4. The Ateneo Aegis 2009 Evaluation Seminar

Being the Associate Editor of our yearbook is another job that I do love. I get to put my creative juices at work. Our EVSEM was held at Punta Fuego, Batangas and it was just a lot of fun. The place was beautiful and the company was great. I got to be with a lot of CSA CBCD people! More importantly, we were very productive. There’s so much pressure for me as it is now November. We have a little bit more than a month to finish everything. And although everything is still right on schedule, the pressure just doesn’t seem to leave me, especially now that I have to juggle Aegis crunch time and a huge PAC project this November too.
The work ahead is insane. I choose to be optimistic about it and just continue accomplishing everything. It does get overwhelming. I fear a lot of things, but hopefully I get through it all barely unscathed.
In a week, I’ll be starting my second semester. I am hopeful as hopeful can be. My schedule still consists of 15 units and a bunch of regular meetings. There were a lot of things to be thankful for last semester and I’m sure the next one will double. It is my last, after all. Time does indeed fly.
