The first set of shows for Summer of 42 this weekend is done. It has been quite thrilling and exhausting at the same time. And since it has been awhile since I last did any production, I missed the exciting rush of doing a show.

I’ll share a few photos from our show. All these were taken by Jorja Hung.

Looking back at the month and so, all that have transpired seems quite surreal. I would have never expected to juggle, sacrifice and survive my insane schedule and overwhelming work. But so far, so good. The success of the 5 first shows makes everything worthwhile. There is a feeling of accomplishment at the end that helps give purpose. At least for now.

Theatre is also a lot of fun. Getting to know and working with the rest of the cast is wonderful. They are brilliant and they inspire. Doing what I do also reminds me of the many joys it can instill in me and the joys that I can actually share to people. I know that I may have to forgo it for awhile as I step into the law school world. But performing is already a part of me that I’m quite certain this won’t be my last.
Please do watch the show! It’s really a lot of fun. We still have 2 weekends! Contact Madel Ching at 0917.903.0560 for ticket reservations.
