- I have never watched Star Trek my whole life. I may have stumbled upon it back when it was so big, but I wasn’t familiar with anything. But I heard that it was really good and my dad wanted to watch it. We even watched it while sitting on La-Z-Boy Recliners with free drink and popcorn. I think that made it a lot more enjoyable.
- The special effects were awesome. It was visually stimulating. The production value is very good. The beginning itself was pretty awesome. It was exciting, dramatic and action-packed!
- J.J. Abrams knows his sci-fi mojo. He knows how to engage Trekkie noobs like me.
- It had a lot of heart, depth and emotion, especially when it comes to how the characters are fleshed out. As part of the audience, I felt for the characters. They were made to be very human. The back and future stories were weaved seamlessly in the movie. More importantly, they were made to be relevant and even entertaining.
- Zachary Quinto is awesome. Spock. Spock. Sylar. Spock. HE IS SPOCK AND SYLAR!!!
- Actually, the movie had solid performances from everyone – both major and minor characters were really good.
