Recapturing the busy month I had
It’s hard to go back in detail how I spent the past month. It was by far the busiest month I’ve ever experienced my entire student life. Last summer came pretty close, but just because this one involved all facets of my entire self, it exceeds everything I did then by a mile. It was physically, emotionally and mentally exhausting. I had quite a few breakdowns along the way, but as soon as everything wrapped up wonderfully and successfully at the end, I had to say it was all purely worth it. I have proven a lot of things to myself, and quite proud of what I have accomplished. Here are a few snapshots from some recent celebrations. I wish I had all the pictures with me to share, but these will do. Happy Holidays everyone!

Crunch time for the Ateneo Aegis team this December! All of us have been working incredibly hard for a March distribution and it has been extremely challenging. We’ve had two press weekends already, which were all quite a lot of fun. There are still a few yet difficult things to fix before we’re all set, but I still have faith that everything else will work out eventually. Photo credit to Miki Bay.

I’ve enslaved myself with COA-PAC work for the past few months up until our big, collaborative event – PACisama finally pushed through last December 19. God knows how much I’ve stressed over this project with my partner, Josh and the organizations under the Performing Arts Cluster. When it all finally wrapped up successfully, I was beyond exhausted and yet incredibly overwhelmed with joy. The admin have been positively receptive, and I had lots of positive feedback. It was a first for the performing arts and we can’t wait to have more opportunities to share and give back to Ateneo. I am so in love with the arts. There’s just so much I want to do for it. Spent the 20th with the rest of the Aegis team for a Christmas dinner and dessert in Greenhills and then to my CBCD friend and fellow Aegis EB member, Sherleen’s Birthday Party at Corinthians. It was a nice night to merge high school and college friends together. Photo credit to Miki Bay.

How am I spending the rest of my holidays? For now, I want to catch a lot of downtime possible after all that. Staying at home while enjoying a nice, quite holidays is just right up my alley. Thank God for my awesome Guitar Hero World Tour skills to beat any kind of brewing blues away. Not that there are any. This year has been pretty wonderful to me. I am full of love and incredibly happy. Merry Christmas to everyone!
