- If you’re looking for a lot of fast-paced action, you will be disappointed. I think it felt more like a really classy romantic comedy focusing on a world where it may be difficult for two complex individuals to trust one another yet somehow discover an intense kind of understanding that binds them together.
- I heart con-films. This one may not be the most exciting or even brilliant con film I have watched, but it has that old-Hollywood feel to it. Very clever, charming and sophisticated.
- I’m a Clive Owens fan. That guy is oozing with sexiness anc charisma. More importantly, he can act really well. I also think that pairing him up with Julia Roberts was perfect. They are both icons with unmatched class and elegance.
- My favorite part of it was this unspeakable elegant chemistry that both Julia’s and Clive’s characters exuded. I cannot stress how brilliantly good they are together delivering some really clever and witty lines. Found myself sharing a lot of good chuckles here and there with the audience.
- I really didn’t like the whole corporation vs. corporation thing over some big-time product. I just think that was kinda lame. There was this really annoying scene that involved looking for a copy machine.
- But it was still elegantly done. I loved the slow-motion intro scene, the quirky transitions (that surprisingly felt old school in a really good way), and the flashback narratives in all those gorgeous settings. It can get quite confusing if you do not listen, watch or follow it through because of the way everything falls into place.
- The ending was cool. Unpredictable and quite hilarious!
